I was wondering If the SWAG team ever thought about introducing new weapons (M97 shotgun etc) into the servers. After all, when you want to give some punch, it's the weapon that matters
Ive seen the shotgun on other servers and a friend of mine even told me that there were even venom guns (from RTCW) or guided panzerfausts. Of course the last 2 arent realistic, but a wider choice of weaponry might "open" up the game even further.

yeah well my friend doesnt settle on 2 or 3 servers he plays the first one that works, so unfortunately he didnt remember the servers where he found them. Anyway, the shotgun would be fine, regarding there are little "Close Quarter Battle" weapons on ET.

Yeah the thing is though the mp40 and thompson smg are CQB weapons themselves. Yet in ET they are the standard issue weapons, when it makes more sense for the garand and k43 to be standard weapons in the game. The thing that mp40s and thompsons have good range and general accuracy is unrealistic, they are pistol caliber. Whenever I can I choose a rifle or machine gun for use.
